With over 35 years in the industry, Ian holds a wealth of expertise in Micro and SME compliance activities, Tax Re-Structuring and Planning, SMSF Planning, Business Purchase, Sale Structuring and Planning.
Ian’s accounting career began in public practice in 1982 and has remained loyal to his field. Being employed in various Chartered Accounting firms in Sydney, Darwin and Newcastle, he later established a financial planning practice on entering into partnership with David Gordon in 1993. Ian’s enthusiasm and attention to detail have made him a respected and admired Partner of GHR since 1993.
Ian’s qualifications range from a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Member CPA Australia, Chartered Tax Adviser and Registered Tax Agent.
Away from GHR, Ian has various other passions including; cricket, soccer and four wheel driving in Australia. Ian will also not turn down a wine if offered.
